Character and Community
The John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art is proud to offer Character and Community, a self-guided tour experience, to participants in the Embracing Our Differences Make-A-Day of It! Program. Students finding their way through the struggles of adolescence will benefit from this program as it highlights issues of character and community that are important to all of us. The self-guided tour features eight works of art from the Museum’s permanent collection; each focused on important personal development issues, including individuality, community and identity. Designed to spark conversation, this tour will help students address issues they face both in the classroom and in the real world.
Cost: Free for students. Please bring two adult chaperones (no charge) for every ten students in the group. Chaperones exceeding this ratio are charged $10 each. Reservations must be made through The Ringling at least two weeks in advance.
