FROM THE ARTIST: For as long as people have had possessions there has been discrimination between the “haves” and the “have nots”. In many cultures there is a recognized class system where people born into destitution will remain there until they die, which is also the case for those born into wealth. This definite separation of the two has lead to hatred and discrimination over nothing more than the distribution of material possessions. No matter what we wear, or how much money we have, we are all human beings. What would you save in a fire? People? Or things?
